Contractors License: Update info

Are you adding or updating personnel to your CA contractors license?  Have the officers, managers, or members of your corporation or LLC changed?

If yes, you need to update the Contractors State License Board immediately. All too often do I come across applications* that need to be signed by a current officer listed on a license except those officers have retired, left the company, or have passed away.

It can currently take up to eight weeks for a new officer to be listed on a California contractors license.  If you have an application that has been submitted, or needs to be submitted, and you don’t have a current officer that can sign the application, you’re now looking at two months before that application can be accepted by the CSLB.

I’d be happy to help you get those new officers listed on the license.  The CSLB fee is $100, and my fee would be $100 to prepare and file the application for you.  Use my contact form below if you need to change/add/update officers on a license

*Current officer signatures are needed when an RME or new officer is being added to an existing license.
