I’m studying for the C27 license. My experience is with landscaping and irrigation only with the desire to go into rain water harvesting as a specialty. The test encompasses carpentry, masonry, electrical, etc. which I have no experience in. I am trying to learn the best way to study for and pass the exam aside from learning all of these trades that I have no interest in doing as part of my job. Any suggestions on how to narrow it down? The practice tests are using terminology and questions based on pretty much nothing I know. Thanks.

Hello Laura,
What practice test system are you using? Most, if not all, practice test programs are designed specifically for each trade. It the program contains carpentry, masonry, etc, then those trades would/could be part of the exam. Here is the cslb exam breakdown. https://www.contractorslicenseguru.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/CSLB-C27-Landscaping-Study-Guide.pdf
